KAMLOOPS — Horns were honked, fists were raised, and tears were shed.

More than 215 transport trucks, pick-up trucks and cars from Merritt, Williams Lake and Kelowna drove onto Tk’emlups land in solidarity and to honour the 215 children whose unmarked graves were found last week.

The trucks from Kelowna, and other parts of the Okanagan, went through Vernon Saturday morning, honking their horns through the city.

There were also First Nations from northern B.C. and Alberta in attendance to take in the event.
