Local restaurants forced to make patio alterations
Interior Health inspectors have been busy making sure local eateries are following the provincial health orders, banning indoor dining.
At least two, and perhaps others, were told their outdoor patios were too indoor, and had to make changes.
“To comply with new restrictions, we are having to make some changes to our patio. For the time being our heated patio is not currently open and we have very limited seating on the sidewalk out front,” Brown’s Social House posted on its Facebook site Tuesday night (April 28).
“With that being said, we will be closing at 8 p.m. again tonight, we are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but we are working on getting our regular patio back up and running ASAP! Thankyou for your continued support,” the restaurant’s statement added.
