New owners for Mike Rosman RV Sales

One of the Okanagan’s best known RV dealerships is changing hands. Mike Rosman RV p has been anchor of the Swan Lake Auto Mile since opening in 1986.

Mike Rosman turned over the keys Tuesday (March 16) to Vernon Recreational Products, a partnership which includes former Vernon resident Doug Thibault, now a resident of Kamloops, Fort St. James logging contractor and Vernon native Mike Goodwin, and Murray Sullivan of Houston B.C., who owns two vehicle and RV dealerships in the Bulkley Valley.

Sullivan is also the president of the Recreational Vehicle Dealers Association of B.C. (RVDA of BC)

“I have a new trailer on order, along with a side by side, and I plan to go RV-ing,” Rosman told Vernon Matters.

Thibault told Vernon Matters he intends to be involved in day to day operations of the dealership and plans to keep the current staff including General Manager Jacquelyn Rosman.

Thibault has an extensive background in automotive sales and management, in addition to training hundreds of automotive and RV sales personnel over the past 17 years with First Canadian Insurance Corporation. He was also an associate member of the RVDA of B.C.

Financial terms of the sale were not released.
