Coldstream has the most expensive home in the area

A home at 8200 Kalavista Drive is the most expensive home in Greater Vernon according to numbers released by the B.C. Assessment Authority.

The nearly 10,000 square foot home built by Heartwood Homes features 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, a theatre room, gymnasium, offices and 170 feet of Kalamalka lakeshore.

It sold in September for $8.95 million but is assessed at $7.547 million.

The assessment was good for 21st place on the list of most expensive real estate in the Thompson Okanagan.
