BC Emergency Health Services said the woman was in stable condition when she was taken to hospital.

“Police received a report of a collision between a cyclist and a vehicle near the 30th Avenue exit of Fruit Union Plaza on October 5th,” said RCMP Const. Chris Terleski, media relations officer. “At approximately 12:50 p.m., frontline officers attended the location and interviewed witnesses on scene.  A 56-year-old female cyclist was taken to hospital by BC Ambulance Service for non-life threatening injuries.  The incident is still under investigation.”
