UPDATE Search ends for missing man

UPDATE Aug. 31

RCMP say the body of a Kelowna man missing since August 25, 2020 was found on August 28.

The cause of death is not considered suspicious at this time.

The BC Coroners Service is also investigating to determine how, where, when and by what means he came to his death. Due to the privacy of the deceased, neither organization will be releasing or confirming identity. No other information is available at this time.

Kelowna RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Kelowna man.

The 80-year-old man was reported missing by his friends and family on Aug. 25 after not hearing from him for a number of days.
