Vernon Vipers announce first of several player commitments

The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the commitment of Griffen Barr.

Barr is from Nanaimo and played last season with Shawnigan Lake School Prep. The 6’0, 190 pound defenceman had 5 goals and 37 assists in 36 games played.

“Griffen is a heavy defenceman that helps in all situations. He’s a right handed shot that is very important to us,” said Jason McKee, Vipers Head Coach and GM.

Barr was captain of his team last season.
