Shamrocks Tame Tigers

The Armstrong Shamrocks put on a show for the home town crowd, defeating the Vernon Tigers 13-4 at the Nor Val Centre Friday night in the Thompson Okanagan Senior Lacrosse League.

Brett Hawrys led the Shamrocks with a ten point performance in front of more than 30 alumni.

Hawrys used the past players as inspiration, earning first star honours with 4 goals and 6 assists, allowing him to win the league scoring title.

The Shamrocks and Tigers next see action in the round robin playoffs July 12 to 14 in Armstrong
