Turning snow into sculptures for 29 years

The 2019 Vernon Winter Carnival officially kicked off today, and so too did the snow sculpture competition.

A total of five teams entered in this year’s competition and they have brought every saw, tool, brush, and ounce of creativity to the competition floor.

We spoke to veteran snow sculpture builder Roger Chaisson about what it takes to be a master snow sculpture builder.
