RCMP superintendent receives Order of Merit

A Vernon RCMP police officer just received a top honor .

Superintendent Shawna Baher became a member of the Order of Merit .

The award recognizes quality citizenship, service to Canada , and to the police community.

In a tweet the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP say that Baher received the prestigious award for her years of service and her work involving the Fentanyl crisis.
