Alarm Empties Mall

It was hard to miss with all the people outside — but it turned out to be no cause for concern.

Everyone inside Vernon’s Village Green Centre was evacuated for about 15 minutes or so this afternoon.

Fire-Rescue checked out the scene and determined an alarm had been triggered for some reason, but it was false, and everyone was allowed back in.
