Tuition increases coming to Okanagan College

Local students will soon have to shell out more money to attend Okanagan College.

The board of directors voted today to approve a two percent tuition hike for domestic students this coming school year .

In a press release statement, Okanagan College Board Chair, Chris Erickson says the hike is necessary to cover the costs of operating .

“The increase in tuition is one way we have to keep pace with the impact of inflation on our budget and support existing and additional services,” he said .
