Arson Suspect To Stand Trial

An Armstrong woman facing arson charges has been ordered to stand trial in BC Supreme Court.

That was the outcome of a provincial court appearance Monday for 61 year old Colette Leneveau.

She be back in court Feb 11 to fix a trial date.

She is accused of three counts of arson in relation to inhabited property.

The Crown says the charges involve three alleged incidents on Warner Avenue in Armstrong last March.

Leneveu is also facing four other arson charges in connection to separate suspicious fires on Okanagan Street, also last March.

She has a trial date of May 27, 2019 in BC Supreme Court on those charges.
