Flood Report Put to Public

A public meeting is being held in Armstrong tonight to give residents a chance for input on the city’s flood mapping and risk assessment report.

Mayor Chris Pieper says it deals with flooding the last few years on Meighan and Deep Creeks.

“We’ve undergone a lot of flooding the last two years, and part of that analysis and applications to various ministries, we had to do a flood mapping and risk assessment report. We had the presentation (Monday) might at council, and next is a public meeting with the presenter there,” Pieper tells Beach Radio News.

It’s at the Odd Fellows Hall on Wood Avenue from 6 to 8 pm.
