Truck Takes Focus Of Ongoing Search

Jan 14, 2019 | 3:39 PM

The search for a missing Armstrong man continues  — and police are now hoping the public may have spotted his unique-looking truck.

41 year old Brian Kyme (pronounced Kim) Franklin was last seen Jan. 3rd, and is known to have family in Victoria and Prince George

Franklin was believed driving a red 2005 Toyota Tundra with BC license plate MC2 169.

The truck was last seen in Vernon Jan. 5.

The truck has a Safety First logo on both the driver and passenger side doors, and is wrapped in graphics depicting LEGO builders and construction equipment.

“If anyone has any information about Brian Kyme Franklin or the truck as described above, please call the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP, Armstrong detachment at 250-546-3028 and reference file #2019-754,” says RCMP Cst. Kelly Brett.

You can also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, or leave a tip online at www.nokscrimestoppers.com.

Truck in picture is a green Toyota Tundra with the logo safety first on the side. However the missing truck is red in colour and does not have amber light bar on the top. The truck also has graphics on the side that look like lego characters at a construction site.
