Open House On 2019 Tourism

Open House On Tourism

Jan 9, 2019 | 3:06 PM

Tourism stakeholders are being invited to attend an open house put on by the City of Vernon Jan. 17th.

The event — which attracted 100 people last year — is designed to engage, educate and connect Vernon’s tourism stakeholders.

The agenda will include breakout sessions and speakers.

Matt Ball from the North Okanagan Cycling Society is one of the keynote speakers, talking about preparing businesses for the Rail Trail.

Kevin Poole, Manager of Economic Development and Tourism for the City, will give an economic development and tourism update.

“The event includes educational presentations, vendor booths, refreshments and networking. City of Vernon, Tourism Vernon and Tourism Commission representatives will be on hand,” says a City media release.

The open house will run from 1:30 to 4:30 pm at the Prestige Vernon Lodge Jan. 17.

You can RSVP to tourism@tourismvernon.com / 250-542-1415 no later than January 11 at 2pm.
