Update: Suspect in Altercation Comes Forward

UPDATE

There has been an update on police seeking tips to identify a man involved in a disturbance, that injured another man inside a Kelowna business.

“Police are now thanking the media and the general public for their assistance. The unidentified male has since come forward to speak with police. He is cooperating with the investigation, which is aimed at determining what exactly took place,” says Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey of Kelowna RCMP.

Police are seeking tips to identify a man involved in a disturbance, that injured another man inside a Kelowna business.

Two men got into a verbal spat that escalated into a fight just after midnight on Dec. 22nd in the 1500 block of Dilworth Drive.

Police are looking to talk to the second man who fled, said to be Caucasian , 40 years old, 6 foot 7 with a beard and wearing a trench coat.

“Our investigators are interested in identifying and speaking with the second male involved in this altercation,” says Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey of the Kelowna RCMP. “Police are releasing images captured from video surveillance footage in an effort to identify that secondary unknown male individual.”
