Recycle Your Christmas Tree

Many people will be taking down the Christmas tree this weekend.

If that’s the case, there is several places in the North Okanagan to drop off the tree for recycling.

In Vernon, Coldstream and the BX, they can be taken to the designated collection site next to St. Johns Ambulance on 47th Avenue until the 13th.

For the RDNO, natural trees with all lights, decorations and tinsel removed, can go to the Diversion & Disposal Facilities in Vernon, Armstrong or Lumby free of charge.
