Revelstoke Search and Rescue Locate Missing Alberta Three Amigos
Good news yesterday as the three central Alberta men that went missing during a sledding trip in B.C. were found safe and uninjured.
Ryan Pyper, 38, Todd Kennedy, 46, and Braydon Kennedy, 21, left the Red Deer area Thursday night to sled at Boulder Mountain in Revelstoke. The area is a well-known destination for back-country snowmobilers from Alberta.
RCMP report the three snowmobilers who were reported missing near Revelstoke early on Saturday morning, got into trouble when their sleds got stuck in the deep snow and hadn’t been heard from since the previous morning.
Revelstoke Search and Rescue implementing ground crews and a helicopter, located the three men at about 3 p.m. on a Boulder Mountain service road.
