Cole Opts for Supreme Court Judge Alone

In an Attempted Murder case that goes back to the Summer, Tyson Darryl Cole has elected to be tried by a Supreme Court Judge alone with a preliminary inquiry.

The two-day preliminary inquiry will be held May 6th. and 7th. of next year.

Cole was arrested after a short foot chase on Kin Beach on July 28th. and at last report has waived his right to legal aid, saying “I’m not doing legal aid because my charges are serious, I really don’t want to get stuck with legal aid appointed representation”.

The 31 year old, who remains in custody,  was wanted for Attempted Murder and multiple firearm offenses dating back to May 7th…when a 21 year old man was shot and injured while in a car in a shopping complex parking lot.
