Move Vehicles When Snow Flies

The City of Vernon is asking drivers to help out maintenance crews — once the snow starts to fly.

Residents are reminded to park vehicles off the road during and immediately following a snowfall until the trucks have cleared and sanded the roads in your area.

The city says not removing cars increases clearing costs when plows have to returned to areas, creates safety issues due to reduced road widths, and can result in loss of on-street parking areas.
