One Man Crime Spree

Police say they put an end to what they say was a ‘one man crime spree’ in Salmon Arm.

It started with a man stealing a purse at Shuswap Lakes Hospital Monday night.

The suspect then allegedly assaulted a female taxi driver and tried to steal her car.

“The taxi operator was not injured,” says RCMP Staff Sgt. Scott West.

The 25 year old suspect was arrested for robbery, theft, fraud and obstruction.
