Human Remains Found Along River

Human remains found in Kamloops have been identified as a missing man from Kelowna.

The remains were found last Friday along the banks of the Thompson River near the Kamloops Airport.

The BC Coroner’s Service says the person has been identified as Martin Joseph Thiffault who was last heard from in April in the Kelowna area.

Foul play is not suspected, and the Coroner’s Service is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
