Boil Water Notice Downgraded

Residents on the Mabel Lake water utility no longer have to boil their drinking water.

The Regional District of North Okanagan and Interior Health have downgraded a boil water notice to a water quality advisory for that utility on the Kingfisher side of the lake.

“Water quality sampling and monitoring has shown that the water supply from Mabel Lake has returned to the water quality before the water system chlorinator malfunctioned. This is allowing for a downgrade to a water quality advisory,” says an RDNO release.
