City Still Painting Road Lines

If you’ve come across some roads around Vernon that still have faded lines, don’t think the city has missed them.

Public Works Manager James Rice says city crews are still out there.

“They’ve been doing it for the last few weeks now and they’re making really good progress. There are still a number of areas that are outstanding. We’re expecting to have it complete mid to late June. It does take approximately six to eight weeks from start to finish to get it done because there’s only certain times of the day they can actually do it.”

Much of that work is done at night.
