North Westside Fire Mystery Continues

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP have nothing further to offer this morning in connection with a house fire on the North Westside early yesterday morning.

Two people who lived in the home in the 300 block of Northernview Road remain, as far as we’ve been told, unaccounted for.

RCMP were called to assist North Westside Fire Rescue after the fire broke out just after 4 am yesterday.

Neighbours reported hearing a rifle shot minutes before the house exploded into flames.
