Okanagan Lake Reaching Full Capacity

May 18, 2018 | 7:51 AM

Officials have increased their estimate for how high Okanagan Lake could rise this spring.

Shaun Reimer from the province says the upper limit could reach 343 metres, about 50 centimetres about full pool.

He says the inflow is being driven by the historic heat wave melting the snow pack.

Reimer notes  the water is flowing into the lake faster than last year, but it’s 32 cm’s below the same date in 2017.
