The victim, who was uninjured, describes the suspect as a Caucasian male, approximately 50 years old, wearing a white t-shirt, blue shorts and a black hat.

“The police are pursuing all avenues of the investigation to identify the suspect,” says Brett. “We are looking for any witnesses who may have been in the area or heard anything at the time of the assault to come forward and speak to police.”

The incident occurred near Ellison Elementary School, and a few blocks from Fulton Secondary.

While the investigation is still in its early stages, RCMP are offering a few safety tips for residents to heighten their safety, including:

-Tell someone where you are going and when you will be back.
-Phone home when leaving a friend’s house and say when you will be home.
