Greater Vernon is back to being serviced by two water sources.
The Regional District of North Okanagan says the Kalamalka Lake source was turned back on today after turbidity issues in the water cleared up.
“The decision to turn the Kalamalka Lake water source back on is based on reduced turbidity and good ultra violet disinfection levels,” says an RDNO media release.
Water is now being supplied from the Duteau Creek and Kalamalka Lake, Mission Hill Water Treatment Plants.
