Stamp Of Excellence

Wheelchair curler Sonja Gaudet of Vernon is among the athletes featured in a new Women in Winter Sports stamp series.

Canada Post is also honouring Olympic skiing champion Nancy Greene and multi-sport star Clara Hughes in the stamps that were introduced  today.

Gaudet has been a member of three gold medal winning wheelchair curling teams at the Paralympics (2006, 2010 and 2014), and was the Canadian flag bearer for the 2014 Paralympics.

Cross-country skiing twins Sharon and Shirley Firth, and Hockey Hall of Famer Danielle Goyette are also being honoured in the stamp series.
