Truck Incident Slows Hwy 97 South

It`s single lane traffic only on Highway 97 southbound at Old Bailey Road south of Vernon because of a traffic accident overnight.

The driver of a semi-trailer truck somehow lost control of the rig and it climbed a roadside concrete barrier.

The driver wasn`t hurt and no other vehicles were involved.

Police say a crane will be needed to get the truck back onto the road.

It could be 10 o`clock before the road is fully open again.

Traffic is being allowed through in the left lane.
