Update: Power Lines Land on Vehicle

Update: 2:45 pm:

An area on Waddington Drive in Vernon was cordoned off to deal with a potentially dangerous situation this afternoon.

Two power lines were clipped by a recycling truck and snagged onto the vehicle around 2 pm.

The driver stayed in the truck, while Fire-Rescue secured the site, and waited for BC Hydro to respond.

Once they did, the person was removed safely.
