Details Still Underway for Vernon’s Rainbow Crosswalk

Details are still being worked out for a rainbow crosswalk in Vernon.

The eight colour crosswalk is to go on 30th avenue between 33rd and 34th streets.

The city’s Transportation manger Amanda Watson
says a final design needs to be set.

“Just the exact size of it and the materials because the paint contractor is going to do an assessment of the road structure and recommend the best paint that will last the longest”

No date has been set for the work to begin, but it should be on the road this Spring.
