In the October 2019 election, Gray, a former business owner and Kelowna city councillor, defeated Liberal incumbent MP Stephen Fuhr by 8,870 votes.

Dan Albas of the Conservatives is looking to win his fourth term in the Central Okanagan -Similkameen-Nicola riding. He won by almost 15,000 votes over the Liberal candidate in 2019.

Albas, a martial arts instructor, is up against four challengers in the riding.

Further south, Richard Cannings of the New Democrats is seeking a third term as the MP for South Okanagan-West Kootenay after winning over Conservative candidate Helena Konanz by about 700 votes two years ago.

And in the Kamloops area, veteran Conservative MP Cathy MacLeod has retired from politics and Frank Caputo is looking to continue the party’s winning ways in the Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo riding.
