RCMP seeking tips

Photo of alleged thief released

Police have released a photo of an alleged liquor thief in Lake Country, hoping it will generate tips.

A man allegedly concealed a bottle of liquor in his pants prior to leaving a liquor store in the 10,000 block of Highway 97 around 6:50 p.m. Oct. 4.

“The Lake Country RCMP are seeking help from the public in identifying this alleged thief,” said Cpl. Meghan Foster of Kelowna RCMP.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately late 30’s in age, dirty blonde hair, wearing a dark grey jacket with a yellow hooded sweatshirt underneath.
