Tia’s life journey began on a winter’s day in Vernon, BC, on December 30, 1990. She was surrounded by the love of her family until her passing on March 14, 2024, in Coldstream, BC. Tia passed away in the same loving home that she was raised and cared for in by her grandparents, Dorothy and Gerry. Sadly, Tia was predeceased by her beloved Pappy, Gerry. Tia was loved by her mother, Nikki, her Aunt Tammy,  her grandmother Dorothy, as well as, her sister Alix and her brother Stephen, who all loved her dearly. Her extended family, both locally and at the coast, are deeply feeling this loss.

Tia had a beautiful smile that could brighten up any room. She was known for her generosity and her open heart. Tia was always willing to lend a hand and give what she could to help others. This was her greatest gift to her friends and loved ones. Tia had a deep love for animals and had many pets throughout her life. Her faithful companion, Miss Katie, will miss her dearly now that she has passed away.

Tia’s memory will forever remain in our hearts, a reminder of her kind and gentle spirit.

Rest easy Tierra and give Pappy a big hug for the rest of us.

Cremation will precede a Celebration of Tierra’s life, which will be held at the Schubert Centre, 3505 30th Ave, Vernon, BC on Saturday, April 27th at 1:00 pm.
