With great sadness, we share the passing of our incredible mom and Grammie. She was the heart and soul of our family, and we’re so thankful for the love, wisdom, and laughter she gave us throughout the years. Her passing leaves a hole that can never be filled, but we find comfort in knowing the kindness, generosity, and faith she showed will continue to live on in all of us.
Mom was much more than just a mother and grandmother—she was a true giver. Whether volunteering at her churches in Terrace and Vernon or helping at community charities, she was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. She poured her heart into everything she did, and the impact she made in the community will never be forgotten. We always admired how she could balance everything with a smile and a kind word for everyone she met.
Mom loved to travel, craft, cook, and share her talents with everyone around her. Whether she was whipping up a delicious meal or making something beautiful with her hands, she loved bringing people together through her gifts. But more than anything, she loved her family, and we’ll always remember the warmth she gave us every single day.
She was a woman of deep faith, and her life was a true example of how love, kindness, and faith can make a real difference in the world. We’re so grateful for all she taught us about living with purpose and compassion.
Mom is survived by her children, Lara, Lisa, and Gerry, as well as her beloved grandchildren. In lieu of a service, the family asks that in her honor and celebration of her life, please donate to the Vernon Salvation Army and Vernon Upper Room Mission—two causes close to her heart.
Rest in peace, Mom and Grammie. We love you more than words can say, and we’ll carry the example of love and giving you instilled in us forever.
