Don passed away peacefully at home on December 31, 2023, at the age of 71. He was married to his loving wife, Wendy for 48 years. He had 2 children, Brandon (Cortnay) and Jeremy (Tracy) and he loved spending time with his precious grandchildren, Drew, Hayden and Jake.

He will be sadly missed by his mom, Pat Solmes; brothers, Jim and Bob Solmes; sisters, Cheyanne (Steve) Campbell and Yvonne (Ken) Keller, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Don was predeceased by his father and birth mother, Thomas and Laura Solmes, and his brother Jeffery Solmes.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
