It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Fay Phillips, aged 67, of Moncton, New Brunswick. Sandra was born November 19, 1953 and died on August 24, 2021 after battling with cancer. She was born to parents Lorena (Henwood) Phillips and Sanford Phillips, and is survived by her two children Luke and Wanda, and her grandchildren Sydnee, Lucas, Mathew and Daneil. She is also survived by her siblings Phyllis, Gloria, Harry, Craig, Stafford, Donald, Sandy, Darren, Darrell, Kevin and Linda, and is predeceased by her husband Blair and daughter Jodi and her father Sanford. Beloved by all who knew her, Sandra had a beautiful singing voice and dearly loved to laugh. She enjoyed cooking for people and made the best apple pie. Her sharp mind, curious spirit and love of living made her quick and lasting friendships. She was kind-hearted to many and helped those less fortunate than herself. Sandra was incredibly proud of her children and deeply loved her family. In her final days she found comfort in knowing that a place had been prepared for her and that she would see loved ones again. Her family want to thank Dr. R. Halperin, Dr. R. Kutsche and the North Okanagan Hospice for their excellent care. Sandra will be laid to rest in the Albert Mines Cemetery in New Brunswick, and a memorial service on September 27th will be announced through the Albert County Funeral Home. Our beloved mother, daughter, sister and grandmother will be forever missed.
