The family of our dearest Bonnie are deeply saddened to announce her passing on Saturday, November 20th 2021, with family at her side. She was a loving mother, grandmother, G.G., sister and friend, full of smiles, jokes, and great stories.
She was predeceased by her beloved sister Regan Kerkpatrick from Duncan and her beloved brother Shilo Reavie from Hope, who died within 24 hours of each other.
Bonnie moved to Powel River in 1947. In later years she lived in Vernon and Enderby and recently resided in the Vernon Restholm.
Grieving her loss is daughter Jill (Wayne) Sakamoto, grandsons, Ronin and Seth. And her Vernon family, Patti Johannson, grandsons Jamie (Linsey) and Iain (Faith). But mostly by her great grandchildren, Jovan, Ty, Eli, Amy and Sully, who affectionally called her G.G.
She was a member of Beta Sigma Pi for more than 50 years, in many chapters. It was very dear to her heart. She loved representing them at the November 11 ceremonies over the years.
There will be an interment at the Coldstream Cemetery on Wednesday December 8th at 2:30pm should you wish to attend.
