It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Patricia “Patty” Swenson/Stolberg nee: Boe has passed away after a brief but valiant battle with cancer. Her last few days were spent surrounded by her loving family and friends and she passed away peacefully in her sleep in the wee hours of August 25, 2024. Patty was born on June 13, 1950 in Grande Prairie, Alberta. In her younger years, she enjoyed camping, boating and fishing with family or playing bingo with friends. She also enjoyed trips to Reno and even went with her sisters Fay, Joan and Jean to Las Vegas. Her greatest joy however, was her family and she cherished her time with her children, grandchildren and, most recently, her great-grandchildren. Left to mourn are her daughter, Dawn and son, Rick. Grandchildren Sara, Brett, Cassidy, Chelsea, Trinity & Riley. Great-grandchildren Parker, Liam & Rylie. Sisters Joan and Jean and numerous other family and friends. Pre-deceased by her parents George, Ruth and step-father Gordon, her brother Richard, her sister Fay, her first husband Henry, her former husband Ollie and her beloved husband Rene. A celebration of life will be held in the spring, date to be announced later.
