After a strong and brave fight against cancer, Pat beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed peacefully at Vernon, BC Hospice House, in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 3, 2025 at the age of 78.
Pat was born at the Grace hospital in Calgary, AB. In her teen years she attended Crescent Heights High School and graduated with the Class of 1965. While in Stavely, Pat volunteered tirelessly in many community groups. If Pat wasn’t volunteering, she was dancing with Tom at the community hall dances. Pat worked all over southern Alberta in the banking community until she retired from CIBC, in 2002. Once retired Pat and Tom built their dream home in Enderby, BC. Pat was a passionate quilter, needle artist, and many people have been blessed to have a quilt from her. Pat was an active member in the North Okanagan quilting and Needle Arts communities. Pat was a generous friend to many, showing an interest in people and making friends and creating community everywhere she went.
Pat is survived by her husband Tom and daughters Dawn Sudom (Jason) and Shelley Wright (Curtis); grandchildren Quintin, Julius, William and Pauline; sisters Valerie (Bill) and Diane; brother in-law Red Middleton (Sandy) and sister in-law Myrna Coghill (Dave – predeceased). A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 10th at 2:00 pm at the Enderby Legion.
