With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Nadien Stacia Haneman.
She passed peacefully at home in Vernon June 29, 2022 while being cared for by family
and surrounded by love. Nadien is survived by her husband Dale of 56 years, her
children, Dana (Matt), Leah (Kent), Glen (Leanne) and her beautiful grandchildren
Jacob, Karah, Tyler and Blake. Also mourning is her sister Merna, brother David
(Joyce), nephew Jay, extended Family and numerous friends.
Nadien was born March 17, 1945 in the City of Edmonton to Joseph and Thelma
Thomlinson. She grew-up in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, where she made so many fond
memories and life long friends. Throughout her life she lived in AB, BC and later
enjoyed being a snowbird in Mesa, AZ.
Nadien loved golfing, kayaking, walking and taking pictures of wildlife, especially
birds. On an ideal day Nadien would incorporate all of her passions making the most of
every day and always outlasting everyone. She was lucky enough to fulfill her bucket list
item of a ‘hole in one’ not once but twice. However, Nadien would say that her greatest
achievement was her children and grandchildren whom she loved very much. Her
children and grandchildren are eternally grateful for her attentive parenting, loving
manner and sense for adventure.
Nadien was passionate about everything she did which made her successful in
her careers most notably accounting and joint ownership of the family Cellular
business.
Nadien was deeply loved and has left a lasting impression on all of our hearts. She will
forever be missed as a Wife, Mother, Nana, Sister, Aunt, Relative and Friend.
We are grateful to have the ability to gather with all those dear to Nadien. We invite you
to a Celebration of life on September 17, 2022 12:00 – 4:00p.m. at the Northern Bear
Golf Course. (51055 Range Road 222 Sherwood Park, AB)
