It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marita Fiebiger (nee Recktenwald).
She passed away peacefully on August 3rd at the Vernon hospital at the age of 82. Marita is survived her two sons Marcel (Cheryl) and Marius (Janet), nephew-in-law Bernt (Penny), nephew Frank Recktenwald, her dog Sunny and many beloved friends. Marita was a woman of strong convictions with a generous heart and always lent a helping hand. Nothing made her happier than when she was surrounded by friends and family. A private Memorial is to be held on September 9th in Vernon. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Huntington Society of Canada.
