Elizabeth "Beth" van der Linden

Elizabeth (Beth) van der Linden (nee Carter) is predeceased by her husband Theo, and survived by five children; Jos, Marion, Tony, Mark, and Michelle; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and her brothers, Malcolm and Alistair Carter from England.
Beth was born in Scotland and grew up in Devon, England. She moved to Canada in 1966 to teach elementary school. She met Theo in Calgary, Alberta where they were married in 1970. When Theo retired from the Canadian Armed forces in 1979, they moved to Killiney Beach near Vernon and started a crafting business. In 2000, they moved to Vernon and Beth became very involved in the Baptist Church. She moved to West Kelowna in 2016 to be closer to Marion.
Due to current conditions, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Beth will be interred in Pleasant Valley Cemetery alongside Theo. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
