Eileen passed away peacefully at Good Samaritan Heron Grove, Vernon BC on Saturday, January 28, 2023.
Eileen Cassidy was born in September 21, 1933 in Tofield, Alberta. She was a beloved teacher to many students during her teaching days in Vegreville, Edmonton, Kelowna Secondary School and Okanagan Mission.
She is survived by her daughter, Marni Brown; grandson, Cassidy (Tala) Brown; brother, Jim (Joyce) Maciborski of Edmonton, Alberta; sisters, Bonnie (John) Penner of Chilliwack, BC, Janet (Michael) Harach of Red Deer, Alberta and many loving nieces and nephews.
Eileen was predeceased by her loving companion Ronald Ferguson; son, Jason Cassidy, daughter, Maryellen Adrain; granddaughter, Stephanie Brown; sister, Diane Palmer, brother-in-law, Patrick Palmer and her parents John and Anne Maciborski.
A special thanks to the wonderful and loving staff at the Good Samaritan Society Heron Grove facility.
Cremation has taken place, and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
