We are saddened to announce the passing of Kathryn Dianne Egerton, June 5^th 2024 at the age of 67 years.

Kathie will be remembered and greatly missed by her loving husband Alfred, her brothers, Steven (Joanne), and Brian; her god children, numerous nieces and nephews as well as many extended family and friends. Sadly predeceased by her parents, Richard and Frances Furby, and brothers David and Lance.

Kathie lived her life to the fullest setting an example of strength and willpower to all her family and friends. After a double lung transplant in 1996, Kathie accomplished many lifelong dreams, including a 10km run in the Vancouver Sun Run, and extensive traveling with her husband Alfred.

Special thanks to Dr. Chris Cunningham, Dr. Harold Yacyshyn and all the healthcare providers that cared for her throughout her life. Thanks to the BC Transplant Clinic, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Pleasant Valley Funeral Home, 4303 Pleasant Valley Road, in Vernon on June 11, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
