Priscilla Jean Dobernigg (nee Cox) passed peacefully on May 4, 2025 at the age of 75 years.  She spent her final days in Hospice in Vernon, attended by many family members and friends.

Priscilla was born in Vancouver in 1949, the eldest of 5 children.  She was a member of the first graduating class of nursing at BCIT in 1969, eventually moving to Vernon, to take up nursing there.  In Vernon, she met and married John Dobernigg.  Together they raised their three sons, David, Philip, and Michael, whose relationships with Priscilla were filled with loving teasing and laughter.

Priscilla was an amazing seamstress and sewer, providing clothing for all her extended family, quilts for the church quilting group, and embroidery sewing for extensive projects.  She attended church faithfully, and served her church by running the sound board, and assisting with vacation bible schools.

She will be sadly missed by her family; David and Missy, (Jadyn, Claire and Ellie), Philip and Kristy, (Melanie, Ben and Katie), and Michael and Jodi (Haley and Lucas), her sisters, Elizabeth (Rob), Grace, Joanna (Bill) and brother Stephen (Joy), numerous nephews and nieces and long-time friends.

Celebration of life will be held at Grace Bible Church on June 2, at 2:30pm.
