David Victor Sharpe

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father David Victor Sharpe at the age of 66. Dave died peacefully at Vernon Jubilee Hospital on September 24, 2023 with his family by his side. He will be deeply missed by his wife Bonnie, daughter Kimberly (Karl), son Paul (Mayu), step-daughter Jessica, step-son Nick (Jessica), step-daughter Tianna (Grant).
Dave was a career truck driver and in his younger years was an active leader in the labour movement. His two passions in life were his dogs (two pugs and a frenchton) and his Harley. If the weather was good, he would be out riding and over the years he put 100,000km on his bike. Dave was also known for his sense of humour and never missed a chance to give his loved ones a good ribbing.
A celebration of life will be held at 2PM on October 21, 2023 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 3412 15 Ave, Vernon, BC, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation in Dave’s honour are appreciated.
