In Loving Memory of Clive Alexander McLeod
April 4, 1944 – October 4, 2026
Clive was born to Betty and John McLeod and raised in Prince Rupert alongside his brother, Greg, and his sister, Carol. Prince Rupert would always hold a special place in his heart.
After graduating from university, Clive travelled through England, Europe, Asia, and Australia, where he spent three years working as a park ranger in the mountains of New South Wales. Upon returning to Canada, he worked briefly with his father before dedicating his career to conservation, parks, fisheries, and ultimately the Coast Guard.
Clive and his wife, Maddy, shared 50 years of marriage. Together, they raised their two sons, Christopher and Tyler, in Prince Rupert before retiring to Vernon.
Clive passed away peacefully on October 4th. He is survived by his wife, Maddy; his sons, Christopher (Amber) and Tyler (Stephanie); and his grandchildren, Jon, Ryan, Jaxon, and Ayla. he also leaves behind his siblings, Greg and Carol (Brian); nieces Barbara (Lorne), Wendy (Alan), and Heather (Chad); great-nephews Sean and Daniel; and great-nieces Shana Lynne (Liam), Allie, Carrie, and Hana.
A very special thank you to the wonderful care team at The Hamlets for their dedication and compassionate care; our family is deeply grateful for everything you do.
